Annual Company Trip in Osaka, Japan

Every year, we have our annual company trip, and this year brings us to Osaka, Japan! As usual, the entire team was separated into smaller groups of 2. This time around, we managed to travel to Japan just in time to catch the Sakura blooms and it was so beautiful!

The first team stayed in Nishikujo at a hostel called Hostel Jin which is around 3 minutes walking distance from Nishikujo station. It’s a relatively new hostel business which caters to travellers that comes in all sorts of group sizes.

They offer a variety of rooms from twin rooms to both female and male dormitory room styles. All their staffs speaks in fluent English so you don’t have to worry if language is your concern!

This year’s annual gathering, we got together to meet at a park nearby Morinomiya Station, located not too far away from Osaka castle. Hanami, in Japanese means flower viewing which was the main activity of our company trip this year at Osaka!

For most of us, it was our very first time seeing blossomed Sakuras. The viewing schedule for this year was actually slightly delayed and we almost thought we couldn’t see any! But thankfully, we manage to score an amazing view of the cherry blossoms while having our picnic gathering.

It was such a memorable afternoon. We prepared some games activity for the team at the Hanami! Everyone had such a great time, bonding over amazing food and chilly weather.

Over at Osaka castle, there is also a chain of small street food stalls that you can find amazing food too to compliment the beautiful scenery and weather.

The rest of the trip was all free and easy. The teams quickly made their way to all famous tourist spots and must-visits such as Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Shinsaibashi and many more.

Some of the must have food grabs when you’re in Osaka!

The second team on the other hand stayed in Very Hostel situated in the heart of Shinsaibashi, Namba. Within walking distance from Namba City shipping mall and Glico Man Sign, you can almost access to most of the main shopping districts in Osaka. Just like the first hostel, this hostel provides excellence customer service care with their staff speaking multiple languages, so you need not to worry!
